Fundraising

One of the coolest things about Pledge the Pink…

is that we don’t require participants to raise any money.

And what’s even cooler… most of our registrants end up making a donation or fundraising anyway!

We’ve watched our pink thermometer go from a few thousand dollars in our early years to $280,875 in 2018.

And we’re going big in 2019: our goal is to raise $350,000

Fundraising is Open!

We’re making it even easier for y’all to help us reach our goal this year with our brand new FlockStar Fundraising system! This custom built platform was designed exclusively for us based on all the comments and feedback you’ve given. You’re able to monitor everything within your private dashboard (including your team’s page) and the system makes it super simple to create a fundraising page in less than 90 seconds, and donations can be made in less than a minute! Easy breezy beautiful.

Registrants, volunteers and general supporters can all fundraise for us!

Don’t like to fundraise but want to help?

How about donating a dollar a day until our big event weekend? No need to hit your friends up for money- just fill up your tackiest cookie jar, flamingo mug, or your kid’s plastic toy bank up with your change (and maybe a few greenbacks?) every day.

Without breaking a sweat or begging for a dime, you’ll donate about $30/month and be part of our monthly cashout challenges and can win some great prizes (not to mention earning flamingos and other FlockStar prizes below).

All while having fun and saving lives.

We’re proud to present…

The 2019 FlockStar Prize Packages

$100

For every $100 that you raise/donate, we will place a plastic pink flamingo in our world-record-holding display called the Flocks of Love. And you can decorate your bird during event weekend.

$500

If you raise/donate $500, you’ll not only get 5 pink flamingos to add to our flock, but you’ll also win:

  • Double insulated 30oz tumbler with lid (and Fancy printed on it, of course!)
  • FlockStar flip flops with sand imprint!
  • FlockStar koozy
  • Metal shoe charms for your sneakers

$1000

If you raise/donate $1000, we’ll give you 10 flamingos, everything in the $500 prize package, plus:

  • Pink PTP cooler & beach bag combo
  • Fancy beach towel
  • PTP Sportbelt fanny pack (it’s cool)
  • Fancy tank top

$2020

If you raise/donate $2020, we’ll give you 20 flamingos, everything listed above, plus:

  • Free registration for Pledge the Pink 2020
  • Free bonus golf cart for Pledge the Pink 2019 weekend (4-seater Thursday thru Sunday)

The last day to fundraise towards prize totals is October 15th. No exceptions. Be sure to get your donations, checks, and Facebook fundraising verifications to us before that date to have all of your efforts included in your prize totals!

Choose Your Charity

If you and/or your team raise at least 5k, you get to designate where 75% of your fundraising dollars go! That’s right: you choose the charities we support! Any US-registered breast cancer nonprofit in good standing is eligible.

Psst – we’ll also mail you 50 flamingos so you can create your own flock at home. Give them to your donors, set up a flamingo display at the office, start a flocking service to get more donations! Don’t worry, we’ll also have 50 flamingos set up for you in our official Flocks of Love display, too!

Our 2018 Funding Recipients

“We are so grateful to be a recipient! This is the best Christmas gift! On December 1 we had to stop performing mammograms because we ran out of funds. We had to call many patients and tell them that we were unable to help them. Now we can call them and reschedule. They will be so relieved!”
