Ten miles a day, on three breathtaking islands. Run it, walk it, push a stroller, take a short cut, stop for drinks, and take loads of selfies along the way.
Pledge the Pink is not about beating the next guy. It’s about challenging yourself. It’s about your goals, your training, your finish lines.
And saving lives.
Is it a walk or a run?
It’s a walk! It’s a run! It’s anything you want it to be!
A lot of people stop for selfies, hammock breaks, dolphin sightings, and the occasional umbrella drink. And a lot of people run the whole thing.
And a lot of people do something in between.
You do what makes you happy. Because that makes us happy.

If you sign up solo, know that you’ll never really be alone! We love introducing you to your new BFFs and connecting people with our ridiculous shenanigans (it’s our specialty, actually).
If you’re single but want to mingle, put yourself up for adoption on our Facebook page and watch the teams fight for you!
We also love teams, so gather your posse and come up with a ridiculously silly team name. We’ve seen that the more clever the name, the easier it is to recruit more peeps.

4 Bling Weekend
Doing a pretty impressive thing calls for some pretty impressive bling. Pick up a gorgeous new medal for each day you race—plus a 5” honker when you wrap up all 30 miles. We unveil them in the spring, but trust us, they’re big, bold, and beautiful, baby!
Accommodations
Fripp Island Resort has thousands of houses, condos, studios, and crash pads to fit everyone’s budget.
Gather your friends and family and stay Thursday thru Sunday, or tack on a few days and make a real vacation out of it.
All rentals booked thru the Resort include full access to private amenities and a NOON CHECKOUT! Oh, and most rentals include golf carts!

You may also want to consider staying in one of Dataw’s waterfront villas where you can enjoy country club living and be less than 15 minutes to historic downtown Beaufort and to beautiful Fripp Island!

Want to really experience Fancy Camp? Pitch a tent or bring/rent an RV and stay at Hunting Island State Park! You’ll be five minutes from all the shenanigans on Fripp and can enjoy a budget-friendly weekend next to the infamous Boneyard Beach!

Meet our Flock
Our private Facebook group is a year-round playground for us to meet new friends from around the globe. We’re a small, intimate group that supports and encourages each other in a safe haven.
Training tips, sneaker sales, and hotel suggestions are plentiful, as are postings for event roommates, carpooling pals, and accountability buddies. Find peeps near you and hook up for weekly or monthly training walks/runs (or make friends with our peeps in Hawaii and Florida and go train at their place this winter)!

We have three different training schedules to get you in the best shape of your life! With our 12, 8, and 6 week plans, we’ve got you covered no matter your fitness level or your race weekend goals.
Costumes
(for you and your golf cart)
We’re loco for silly costumes, wacky clothing, and pink prima donnas. And we’re especially crazy for group costumes!
Costumes aren’t required so don’t feel pressured into looking like an idiot.
But your golf cart on the other hand… If you’re staying at Fripp, chances are your rental includes a golf cart. And we’re having a parade and decorating contest.
Enough said.

No fundraising needed
There’s no real time limit (but we ask that you shoot for 4 hours)
Kids under 12 and under are just $100
You can win some sweet prizes (like Spartina 449, Kendra Scott, and SparkleSkirts kind of awesome!)
Accommodations and airfares are cheaper in late October so you’ll save big bucks if you’re coming from out of town
Oh, and the weather is pretty doggone near perfect this time of year (75 and no humidity!)
